A Couple of Schedule Changes

We have two adjustments to the schedule for Easter through August:

First, we will be singing for First Holy Communion Mass, which will be held Saturday, May 2 at 10:30 am. We will meet at the rectory before 10 am, so we can be dressed and seated in time to help foster a reverent atmosphere (which is sometimes lacking before this Mass). The order for music is the same as Corpus Christi, except for the responsorial psalm, which will be "Lord Send Out Your Spirit" (see Easter Vigil psalm one); also, we will be doing the Jubilate Deo ordinary, as it is more familiar with the communicants.

Secondly, we will indeed be singing for Ascension Thur... I mean Sunday (sorry, Janet!), which is Sunday, May 24 at 11:00 am. Once again, we'll meet in the rectory a half hour before.
